Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD) from a UGC-recognized university. Final year Masters students can apply, but must secure the required marks within two years of the SET result.
• Ph.D. Holders: Ph.D. degree holders who completed their Master’s level examination by 19th September 1991 are eligible for a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.
• Subject Requirement: Candidates must appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. If their subject is not listed, they may appear in UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR Test.
